Village Link Magazines Limited General Competition and Prize Draw Rules
All competitions are free to enter
1. Competitions and Prize Draws are open to all, except ...
· employees from the Village Link Magazines Limited or companies associated with the competition/draw.
· Directors or employees of Village Link Magazines Limited.
· their immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live).
· members of the same households (whether related or not) of such employees, councillors, officers, directors and agents are not eligible to participate in any competition.
· In addition, any person closely acquainted with any person connected with the competition/draw is not eligible, if in the Director's sole discretion, the person's participation could create the appearance of impropriety.
2. Only one entry is permitted per person per competition.
3. Village Link Magazines Limited reserves the right to reject any
competition/draw entry.
4. All prizes must be accepted as offered. There can be no alternative awards, cash or otherwise. In the event that a prize is not available for whatever reason, Village Link Magazines Limited reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
5. Proof of postage cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged.
6. No correspondence can be entered into and no entry can be returned.
7. Competition/draw entries once received by Village Link Magazines Limited become the sole property of the these companies to exploit in any media.
8. The decision of the Directors is final.
9. If space allows and it is relevant to the competition/draw, the results of competitions will be published in
the either The Village Link", the internet and/or any other publication the companies deem fit.
10. While every reasonable effort is made to ensure all prize details are correct at the time of going to
press Village Link Magazines Limited cannot be held responsible for incorrect details provided by sponsors.
11. Where competitions/draws are designed for children the Village Link Magazines Limited may reject entries from persons over the age of 16. Entries received from persons under the age of 16 will be deemed to have received parental or guardian permission.
13. Village Link Magazines Limited will make reasonable efforts to notify prize
winners by letter, telephone, e-mail or any combination thereof prior to general publication. Village Link Magazines Limited is not bound to publish the names of winners (that are not contactable), in the expectation that winners may themselves make contact.
14. In the event that the prize has not been awarded within 12 calendar weeks of the closing/draw date then the prize will be withdrawn. At the sole discretion of the Directors a new winner may be selected.
15. Any individual rule(s) published with competitions take precedence over individual general rules published here.
16. Entry implies acceptance of all these rules and any rules published with specific competitions.
